We take no credit in the main idea of the site. Warriors Limited was created with the help of Erin Hunter (main idea), Skystar (graphics and creation), and Redstar (plot and creation). Thank you for your support.
Please ignore the name on the banner. I had another warriors rpg I'm on in my head and typed that out instead of Warriors Limited. Sorry about that guys! -Sky

Sparrowpaw's Apprenticeship « Thread Started on Apr 10, 2006, 9:20pm »
Bluefire felt her paws brush the hard stone outside the cave. She sat down and waited for Sparrowpaw to catch up. Tonight, the half moon was already rising above the trees, and she would present Sparrowpaw to StarClan. They were also waiting for ShadowClan's medicine cat, Frostedstep. All the healers met at the half moon to share tongues with StarClan. Bluefire tried to quell her hunger. She could not eat anything beforehand, nor could her new apprentice. It would be harder for him, because he had not done this before.
the night held, but hunger clawed at the pit of his belly, climbing higher into his throat, and roaring in his ears. the half moon had come, and now the time of antisiptaion had arrived; as the tom and she-cat picked their way thowards the Mothermouth. his flame colored pelt shone in the night, showing his well-built muscles beneith. golden occuli stared through the darkness, blinking at the cave that stood before the pair.
That's where we get to meet StarClan? he murmered, barely a whisper escaping, in awe.
...my world were all right, has turned wrong...
...not all seen is what is expected, listen to the little voice in the back of your head...
through the shadows, the she-cat crept, though, unaffected by the darkness with her pelt of snow. greens eyes pierced the night sky, and she padded on, no longer feeling the hunger that clawed in her gut. she no longer stood in pain.
pads dragged her further, until her sharp eyes caught sight of two others sitting already at the mouth of the cave, waiting most likely. she pulled on a fait smirk, the closet to a smile she could get, and nodded to Bluefire in greeting, then to the young apprentice. Lo Bluefire, Tom. She mewed with amusement, being the nicest she could, though not really working.
...for it could be all to save you, give it a shot. try me...
The old she-cat crossed the territory with ease. She watched the other medicine cats before sitting down by herself to wait. Moonleaf's greyish tail twitched.
Bluefire smiled softly in amusement. "Yes, this is the the place." She dipped her head to the other medicine cats. "Greetings, Frostedstep, Moonleaf. This is my new apprentice, Sparrowpaw." She said, indicating the young tom with a flick of her gray tail. "You should be thinking about taking an apprentice too, Moonleaf." She pointed out mildly. Moonleaf was old, and Bluefire knew that StarClan would call her eventually.
Moonleaf thought for a moment. "Yes, I know," she mewed in reply, "I will, soon enough..." The she-cat laughed before getting up and stretching, her dappled muzzle opening again to laugh as she did so.
the tom nodded to the other she-cats who soon arrived, looking extremely eager. he would meet StarClan. maybe even his mother...Hello. he mewed quietly, now feeling slightly shy of the others.
the pale she-cat nodded thoughtfully in return, and smirked at the younger medicine cat's remark. yes, but she was as well, even the old she-cat would admit it. but expirence came with old age. Yes, well, I don't think it would be wise of you to say so, Bluefire. I myself have come to that point. she warned, but mild amusement hung in the still night.
Bluefire let our a purr of amusement. "Those are your descisions, of course." The gray she-cat stood, her ice blue eyes gleaming in the light of the half moon. "Shall we go, then? Come, Sparrowpaw. Just follow our scents." She padded down into the cold cavern, winding down the long, pitch-black passage that would lead the medicine cats to Moonstone. (Should they have a dream of the plot? I think we have enough members to start it)
The tom nodded, picking himself up and padded slowly into the mouth of the cavern. Darkness fell about, but he did as told, and followed his mentor's scent.
Frostedstep grinned, for the first time in a while, and followed behind.
Bluefire led the way, her pawsteps sure as she traveled the well-known path. A draft brought with it the scent of fresh air. They were close. The tunnel widened into a chamber, with a hole at the top, through which Silverpelt was visible. Bluefire took up her spot next to the Moonstone and sat down, gesturing for Sparrowpaw to do the same. The ceremony was about to begin.
Sparrowpaw blinked and slightly winsed at the light change, but followed Bluefire's gesture and sat next to her. He peered around curiosuly, waiting to begin.
As the last of the medicine cats entered, the half-moon reached its zenith, and the Moonstone lit up liek a star fallen to earth, bathing the chamber in silver light. Bluefire rose, her fur the color of ice, and padded over to face her apprentice. "Sparrowpaw, is it your wish to enter into the mysteries of StarClan as a medicine cat?" She asked, her smooth voice echoing slightly in the chamber.
Bluefire nodded and turned to Moonstone. "Warriors of Starclan, I present to you this apprentice. He has choosen to follow your ways as a medicine cat. Give him the understanding so that he may heal his Clan according to your will." Bluefire lay down next to Moonstone. "Come, Sparrowpaw. It is time to see what StarClan has to tell us." The blue-gray she-cat pressed her nose to the stone.
again, the small tom nodded, and padded forwards, doing as his mentor instructed. he too, closed his golden orbs and pressed his nose against the cold stone.
Bluefire felt the familiar sensation of floating in darkness. When she opened her eyes, she was no longer at Moonstone. Instead, she was looking at the Thunderpath. Near the black asphalt, a Twoleg family was sightseeing. As the medicine cat watched, one Twoleg kit wandered off into the forest. The gray she-cat was puzzled. This was a peaceful scene. What message could StarClan be trying to tell her? Then it changed. She was in ThunderClan's hunting ground, near Tallpines. A sense of evil permated the air. The fur on her back rose. She could feel something watching her. She caught a flash of large, red eyes through the undergrowth. A twig snapped. the something was stalking her. There was a flash, a brief glimpse of long claws, and she found herself back in the cave.
Moonleaf looked at the scene before her. Twolegs...and a twoleg kit? Then, she was by the river, seeing a strange cat stalking in the darkness... And then she was back at the Moonstone. The old she-cat shuddered slightly and looked at the other medicine cats. Had they foreseen this too?
Bluefire shook her head slightly and looked up. Moonleaf was already awake, though Sparrowpaw and Frostedstep seemed to just be stirring. Worry clouded the ThunderClan cat's mind. What was in store? First all had seemed well, then there as that thing....
Moonleaf looked at Frostedstep and Sparrowpaw, and wondered if they had seen it, or if she herself had been the only one. It seemed unlikely, as the old she-cat glaned at Bluefire.
the ivory feline woke suddenly, just as the dream began, occuli glowing with worry, all that reflected back in the other's own. she sat up slowly and looked about, ajusting to the light, and awaiting the rest.
Swallowpaw did not wake however, as quickly as the others, though the lids hiding his green raze flickered slightly. the dream continued, and did not end.
still in the woods, a cat appeared suddenly, who appeared to be whom he never had seen. but later to learn, the orange tom before him was the founder of his beloved Clan, Thunderstar. as the tom approached, the young apprentice noticed a peculiar aura about him, but he said nothing. Do not fear, Swallowpaw. I am here to help. the voice was strong and low, rumbling like the distant storm; but something about him made the tom meet his gaze, no longer afraid. who was this? the old leader stood infront, but to the tom's disbelief, turned and walked slowly away. Wait. Where are you going? What do you mean help? but as he called, the past leader vanished, leaving the young medicine cat staring after, bewildered. Darkness and confusion clouds about, leaving all in freight; but need not through the times of trouble, for thought is the only key. Together they shall fight, side by side to drive the forces off, but if all else fails...
and he awoke as the rest, staring about in confusion. where was he? what did the tom mean? he lay near the cold stone still, though his heart was thundering in his belly, and his body was shaking uncontrollabley. what happened...?

Bluefire saw that her apprentice was awake. It was time to go. With a flick of her tail, the gray she-cat started back down the darkened tunnel and back to the world of the light, pondering all she had seen.
